Description
Giraffes are the world’s tallest animals, thanks to their long legs and necks. Their legs are about six feet long. Over short distances, these long legs allow them to run as fast as 35 miles an hour. They can comfortably run about ten miles an hour over longer distances. These powerful legs are not only good for moving from place to place. If a predator attacks, a mother will use both her front and back legs to kick the attacker thus protecting her offspring. This mother will teach her baby all that is necessary to survive. The pair will stay together for about a year and a half. This beautifully rendering in artisan resin measures 11 3/4″ tall and 5 3/4″ wide. It is hand painted with great attention to the details.
