Description

The Pointers breed’s name is its job description. For centuries, these dogs have been pointing at birds and small game animals making them a versatile field dog.  When a Pointer senses game, he raises one foot off the ground, pointing the hunter in the right direction. A Pointer carries itself proudly and is capable of great speed and agility.

A Pointer needs on going training and lots of exercise, the more the better. They are well suited to active homes, becoming loving members of the family. This high energy and fun loving dog is an excellent runner’s companion.
