Description

The pug was originally from China. They are one of the oldest dog breeds. Known for being sociable and gentle, a Pug is a great lap dog. The breed has several distinctive physical features,  deep wrinkles around big dark eyes, a short-muzzled face and curled tail. Due to the flat shape of the Pug’s face, this breed does not do well in extremely hot or cold weather.

Pugs love to be the center of attention.  They are playful dogs, and always want to be close to their humans. But if on its own, a Pug will  tends to be a sedentary dog.
