Description
Zebras are African equines with a distinctive black-and-white striped coat. They are closely related to horses and donkeys. It is believed that the zebra’s stripes work like camouflage. When zebras stand in a group, it is harder for predators to determine how many there are. Also, stripes may work as a natural sunscreen. This zebra looks like he is out for a stroll away from the herd. The scene is finished off by an oval wood looking frame. The outside of the frame measures 7 1/8″ wide by 4.5″ tall.
